Commemorative price Astrid Lindgren

The commemorative price Astrid Lindgren ( Astrid Lindgren memorial award - ALMA) is a literary prize rewarding the authors for literature of childhood and youth. It was created by the government Swedish in 2002, year of the disappearance of the famous auteure Astrid Lindgren, creative of Fifi Brindacier. Equipped with a reward of 5 million Swedish crowns, that is to say the equivalent of more than 550.000 Euro S, it is about the most important price reserved for the literature for child and the youth of the world. It is also about the second world literary prize in term of financial reward, after the Nobel Prize of literature.
