Commander of the believers
The commander of the believers , (Arab: rear RTL أميرالمؤمنين amīr Al-driven minīn , word for word prince of the believers ) is a rank religious, Politique and Social, representing the supreme leader of the Moslems, indicating in the first times of the Islam the Caliph.
The first to carry this title was Omar ibn Al-Khattab.
The Commander of the believers is elected following the rules of the Charia, and following the gathering of the representatives of the Moslem people called Choura.
Nowadays, only the King of the Morocco carries this title, this quality is registered in the Moroccan constitution, the movement Islamiste Al Adl Wal Ihsane refuses to recognize this quality with the King, contrary with the Parti justice and the development which strategically chose to join there and to thus join the legal political game.
This title was also carried by the Mollah Omar in Afghanistan when the Talibans were with the capacity in this country, or by Youssef Ibn Tachfin, founder of the dynasty Almoravide.
