Comitat de Varaždin

the comitat of Varaždin (in Croatian Varaždinska županija ) is a Croatian Comitat located close to the Slovenien border and Hungarian on the highway axis A4 which connects Zagreb and Budapest. Also, it is bordered by the Comitat de Međimurje in north, the Comitat de Krapina-Zagorje in south-west, the Comitat of Zagreb in the south and the Comitat de Koprivnica-Križevci in south-east. The chief town is the town of Varaždin. According to the Recensement in 2001 makes the comitat is populated of 183.730 inhabitants.
