Comedian Harmonists

The Comedian Harmonists were a musical and vocal group German famous in between two wars in all Europe. The founding members of the group are Harry Frommermann and Robert Biberti. The success of their group coincides with the rise of the Nazism in Germany. Harry Frommermann being Jewish, encouraged the other members of the group has to make a round in the United States because it was afraid of the anti-semitism Nazi. But as the singers they are German decide to return in their fatherland. In 1935, they are prohibited by the Nazi regime, because three of them are Jewish. After a last concert in front of German, the group separates with the departure abroad from Harry. They will sing never again together. Famous for its imagination, this group made of many followers going of the Frères Jacques with bifluorée Chanson while passing by the Four Bearded and the Octaves. A film their was devoted.
