Come
Viens is a common French, located in the department of Vaucluse and the area Provence-Alp-Coast of Azure.
Geography
The village of Come is a perched medieval village of nature, turned vis-a-vis Luberon, on the height between Apt and Céreste.
The common one belongs to the perimeter of the Regional natural park of Luberon
Relief
The village is perched on the southern part of the Monts of Vaucluse.
In the south and the east of the commune, two valleys. Around the village, a plate perched slightly tilted between 500 meters on its part more in the south and 700 meters on its northern part. The remainder of the commune, is its northern part, is a succession of small valleys and hills with a top with 784 meters.
Two swallow-holes: the swallow-hole of Large (in the North-West) and the swallow-hole of the Soft ones.
Transport
Main road 100 in the extreme south of the commune.
Secondary road 33 and secondary road 155 cross the commune on a more or less North-South axis.
On a East-West axis, secondary road 190 passes by the village (like secondary road 33).

Hydrology
Picturesque Cours of the Calavon at the exit of the throats of Oppedette and brooks to the periodic course.
History
An important Neolithic furniture, collected in a half-dozen of stations, shows that the zone was occupied rather early.
The many Roman vestiges (and proximity of Apt) show that the zone continued to be occupied during the Roman period.
Come is quoted in 1005 under the name of " Vegnis" then in 1225 pennies its current term.
The village was the stronghold of Agoult, then successively of the Simiane (old baronnie of Barn of Simiane), Sabran-Forcalquier, Villemus, Glandevès and finally of Agoult-Montauban.
Heraldic
Of mouths with two faced and crowned dolphins, holding of their mouths a bunch of grapes suspended, and accompanied at a peak by a crescent, the whole of gold.
