Combined Second world war
The Alliés of the Second world war were the countries which were opposed formally to the forces of the Axis at the time of this war. At the time of the conflict, they were often named the the United Nations , although today this name referred to the United Nations which they founded after the war. Among the rows of the allied forces one counted, the the United States, the Soviet Union and the the United Kingdom known like " the Large Three ". President Franklin D. Roosevelt referring to the Three Large ones plus the China spoke about the " Four gendarmes ".
