Combinatie
The Combinatie is a cargo liner Dutch which was in the business district of Combinatie, central act of the French criminal middle of the years 1950.
The business of Combinatie
October 4th, 1952, Combinatie leaves Tangier stuffed of 2700 cases of Cigarette S. It is ordered by Placido Pedemonte, trafficker experienced of cigarettes. It must be let approach and plunder by forgery Pirate S in order to obtain the refunding of its cargo by the Assurance S. He is a question of touching a double benefit: the premium of insurance and the benefit of the sale of the diverted cigarettes.
During the night, a high-speed motorboat, the Esme , ordered by Eliott Forrest, approaches the sides of the Combinatie . Hooded and armed, the men of Forrest board and plunder the Dutch cargo liner.
But, the storm makes rage and it is not possible to deliver the cases diverted on the island of the Riou, close to Marseilles. On the councils of Dominique Venturi, known as Nick Venturi, brother of Jean Venturi, the boat travels towards the Corsica and the Baie of Ajaccio where the cases will be unloaded and hidden. The operation is managed by Antoine Paolini, called “Board” and Jean Colonna, said “Fool”, future mayor of Crushed-Canale in Corse-du-Sud and uncle of Jean-I Colonna.
The captain of the Esme is too talkative and speaks. Placido Pedemonte, the captain of the Combinatie , return to Tangier, shows Eliott Forrest and its accomplices of the Escroquerie. Judicial enquiries are open. The suspicions go towards the Renucci team, of which Nick Venturi and Marcel Francisci. The Guérini brothers recommend not to run out the diverted cigarettes, but everyone is not of this opinion, like Antoine Paolini.
The war of Combinatie
Antoine Paolini decides to conceal part of the cases of cigarettes hidden in Corsica to resell them quickly. OJ Renucci, Guérini, Jean Colonna are in anger. Jean Colonna slaps a man of Paolini, which decides to launch a disproportionate vendetta against the Francisci-Renucci block, Venturi-Colonna.
July 15th, 1955, Jean Colonna, the uncle of Jean-I Colonna, receives a gust of automatic weapon in Ajaccio and must be amputee of the two legs. A few days later, from Marseilles, Antoine Paolini escapes from little from dead from the wheel of his car. The following day, his/her own cousin is killed in Corsica in his car.
April 16th, 1955, a friend of Nick Venturi is wounded in Marseilles. June 11th, 1955, it is with the turn of a friend of Paolini, known under the nickname “the Olive”, to be mortally wounded.
July 18th, 1955, the brother of Jean Colonna is killed coldly, under the eyes of his son Jean-I, by killers disguised as tourists acting for the account of Board. Jean-I will remain very marked by this terrible vendetta and will devote part of his life to avenge his father.
August 27th, 1955, Francois, a friend of Paolini, fall under the balls to the terrace from the bar Sporting , on the Napoleon Course of Ajaccio. September 6th, 1955, they are the brothers of Francois, Jean and Philippe, who are killed by killers.
November 4th, 1955, whereas it is in the district of the Basket, in Marseilles, Antoine Paolini is involved under a false pretext along the Saint-Julien cemetery by two of his lieutenants “Sandre” and “Méu” which cut down it, turned over by the opposing party. “Pike perch” and “Méu” will be distinguished a few years later within the gang from the gray blouses.
Antoine disappeared Paolini, one of his lieutenants indicates to the police officers the masks cigarettes. The Frères Guérini, which supported the clan of OJ Renucci, threaten the indicator of death. The vendetta continues: Muziotti, Lorenzi, Caselli…
With final, the vendetta of Combinatie made nearly 30 victims and lasted 20 years roughly. It was a structuring act of the powerful Corsican medium while placing its winners, the Venturi, Francisci and Guérini, in the center of the Marseilles and Parisian mediums. They could thus play a leading role of the gigantic network of traffic of Héroïne extending from Turkey in the United States called… the French Connection.
