Combier

Distilling Combier is an establishment located at Saumur, in France, specialized in the manufacture of Apéritif fruit S and syrups.

It was founded in 1825 by the Burgundian confectioner Jean-Baptiste Combier, which invented the dry Triple later two years. Combier always markets two liquors containing bitter oranges, the Original Dry Combier Triple and Royal Combier. The Original Triples Dry is manufactured starting from oranges of Haiti macerated in the alcohol during 24 hours and distilled in Alambic S of copper centenaries to give a soft-bitter liquor.

Combier also produces a Guignolet and a Pastis, others Liqueur S intended to be used as a basis for Cocktail S, of the fruit creams and fruit syrups.

Distilling also produces wormwoods on behalf of the company Jade Liquors, in particular New-Orleans and the clear wormwood Blanchette Combier, a re-creation of liquor of the same name produced by distilling at the beginning of the 20th century.
