Colvocoresses Reef
The reef of Colvocoresses (Colvocoresses Reef) is an atoll completely submerged by the tides in the North-East of the archipelago of Chagos. Located at 19 kilometers in the east of Announcers Bank and 30 kilometers in north east of the Reef Blenheim, it took the name of the doctor Alden Partridge Colvocoresses who developed to with it between 1973 and 1979 the Space Oblique Mercator with John Parr Snyder and John L. Junkins. The lowest depth noted is at nine Mètre S with the top of the reef. The antennas are visible only when the sea is surging.
