- blood 50,0 ml
- acid nalidixic 15,0 Mg
- colimycine 15,0 Mg
- pH = 7,3
Preparation
42,5 G per liter. Traditional sterilization. Blood is added after return of the gélose to 45 °C. The antibiotics can be included in the powder or additions like blood.
Reading
- Colonies surrounded by a clear halation: béta-haemolytic
- Colonies surrounded by a greenish halation: alpha-haemolytic.
- Other colonies: hémolyse negative or not-haemolytic.
The bacteria of these colonies are resistant to the nalidixic Acide and the Colimycine.
