Colorado State Rams is a club general sports university of the Université of State of Colorado to Fort Hakes (Colorado). The teams of Rams take part in the university competitions organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Colorado belongs to division Mountain West Conference.
The competition with the Colorado Buffaloes illustrates by the behavior since 1893 of an annual American football game called “Rocky Mountain Showdown”.
