The Large General headquarter of the Allied Powers in Europe or Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers in Europe (SHAPE) is the military command center of the forces of NATO in Europe.

Until 1967, it was located in France, with Rocquencourt on the current site of INRIA close to Paris. In addition, the Second in command (Deputy SACEUR or DSACEUR) is an European, until 1966, a French or a British, since 1966, a German or a British and, since 2005, a German. He has clean prerogatives of " coordinator stratégique" with the European Union.

Since a transformation of NATO in 2004, the SHAPE has only three interarméerégionaux staffs:
