Colonel de Groulard
Colonel de Groulard , born with Libourne the February 3rd 1835, deceased with Châlons-sur-Marne the December 4th 1891.
Colonel of the 106e of line, it took part in 9 campaigns: in the Crimea, in Syria, in Algeria, in Mexico, against Germany and the Lyons insurrection. - November 14th 1854: Entered with Saint-Cyr military school, it belonged to a promotion which remained only one year at the School, because of the Crimean War.
- October 1st 1855, Appointed Second lieutenant with the 16th battalion of hunters to foot, it left for the army the East;
- September 8th 1861, it was called with the 12th battalion as lieutenant
- January 6th 1864, it passed on its request with its rank to Africa to the 2nd battalion of light infantry
- May 17th 1865, Chevalier of the Légion of honor,
- August 30th 1867, Promu captain with the 58e of line, the time of the war of 1870, it returned to France, it was then captain-adjudant-major;
- January 1st 1871, it was named major and the following year it passed with its rank to the 20th regiment of line and the 143e on October 13rd, 1873. After a setting in nonactivity for temporary infirmities, it took again service in 1876, and was named the
- October 6th 1882, Promu lieutenant-colonel with 20th of infantry
- January 13rd 1887, Promu colonel with the 106e.
