Colombières-on-Orb is a common French, located in the department of the Herault and the area Languedoc-Roussillon. Its inhabitants is called Colombiérais.La commune is located in the canton of Olargues.
Geography
Colombières-on-Orb is on Right Bank of the Orb and with the foot of the Caroux. The throats of Colombières are dug in this solid mass by the river of Arles which comes to be thrown in Orb. The territory of the commune is in the perimeter of the Regional natural park of High-Languedoc.

History
Colombières was also called Colombières the Strapping woman . The commune takes its current name by the decree of the October 8th 1958. Under the old mode, the parish of Saint-Pierre was attached to the diocese of Béziers.
