Colli di Faenza Sangiovese
The Colli di Faenza Sangiovese is a red Wine of the area Emilie-Romagna equipped with a name DOC. since August 4th, 1997. Only to DOC. the wines collected inside the surface of production defined by the decree are entitled. The authorized vineyards are located in Province of Ravenne in the communes of Brisighella, Casola Valsenio, Riolo Terme, Faenza and Castel Bolognese like in the communes Modigliana and Tredozio in Province of Forlì-Césène.
The red wine of the Colli di Faenza Sangiovese answers a schedule of conditions less demanding than the Colli di Faenza Sangiovese riserva, primarily in relation to a 2 years ageing and a higher alcohol content for the riserva.
Organoleptic characteristics
- color : more or less intense red ruby
- odor : delicate, characteristic, with flavors of violet
- savor : dryness, harmonic, fresh
The Colli di Faenza Sangiovese is tasted at a temperature of 14 with 16°C and it keeps 2 - 3 years.
