The Colli del Trasimeno rosso riserva is a red Wine of the area Ombrie equipped with a name DOC. since January 13rd, 1972. Only to DOC. the wines collected inside the surface of production defined by the decree are entitled. The authorized vineyards are located in Province of Perugia close to the Lac Trasimène in the communes of Castiglione del Lago, Città della Pieve, Paciano, Piegaro, Panicale, Perugia, Corciano, Magione, Passignano sul Trasimeno and Tuoro sul Trasimeno.

The red wine of the Colli del Trasimeno rosso riserva answers a schedule of conditions more demanding than the Colli del Trasimeno rosso, primarily in relation to the alcohol level and with a 2 years ageing.
