Colli Orientali del Friuli Picolit superiore

The Colli Orientali del Friuli Picolit superiore is a white Wine soft Italian of the area Friuli-Venezia Giulia equipped with a name DOCG since March 30th, 2006 after being equipped with DOC. on July 20th, 1970. Only to DOC. the white wines collected inside the surface of production defined by the decree are entitled. The authorized vineyards are located at the North-East of the Province of Udine in the communes of Tarcento, Nimis, Faedis, Povoletto, Attimis, Torreano, San Pietro Al Natisone, Prepotto, Premariacco, Buttrio, Manzano, San Giovanni Al Natisone and Corno di Rosazzo.

The wines are of very high-quality and some Sommelier S compare the picolit with the wines Sauternais of Château of Yquem.

The Colli Orientali del Friuli Picolit superiore answers a schedule of conditions more demanding than the Colli Orientali del Friuli Picolit, primarily in relation to the alcohol level.
