College of Alma

The Collège of Alma is a college of mainstream education and professional (Cégep) located in the town of Alma in the province of Quebec. It replaces in 1970 old the traditional Externat of Alma by taking the name of “ Collège of the Lake-Saint-Jean ”. Into 1972, it changes name for Collège of Alma . It then forms part of the regional College of the Saguenay-Lake-Saint-Jean before becoming fully autonomous in 1980. It nowadays counts approximately 1200 full-time and part-time students divided in the following programs:
