College Andre-Grasset
The Collège Andre-Grasset is a collegial educational establishment préuniversitaire of Montreal. It belongs to the Association of the private colleges of Quebec (ACPQ).
Site
The College is located at 1001 Crémazie Is, with Montreal. It is on the edge of Metropolitan (Autoroute 40). The subway station nearest is Crémazie.
History
The college is founded in 1927, at the request of the Archevêque of Montreal, by the priests of Saint-Sulpice of Montreal. It is named in the honor of the priest André Grasset. At the time, it is the first college to receive only students of outside: there is no boarding school.
In 1962, one inaugurates the Aurèle-Allard house, which accommodate the students for the courses of Philosophie and Sciences, and also the Bibliothèque. A Auditorium is also built.
In 1967 - 1968, it is the last year when the college teaches the course preparing with the Baccalauréat are arts.
The two following years, the college is devoted to secondary education.
Starting from 1970 - 1971, after the reforms undertaken by the government of the National union, the college is devoted to the two years teaching of teaching préuniversitaire.
One opens a Gymnase in 1975, then a versatile room in 1990. A multipurpose room, the room Dye stick-Guèvremont, is inaugurated on January 25th 2002.
The year 2002 - 2003 is that of the 75e birthday of the college. One gives the Prix Andre-Grasset to the writer Claude Jasmin.
Since the autumn 2003, the Grasset Institute offers technical training and to measure.
Educational project
The College Andre-Grasset has the role of providing an education complete and adapted the needs of the students. The academic performance is very developed, just as the versatility and the opening on the world. One wants to train responsible citizens by giving a total education. One develops also the Christian humanistic values.

Foundation Andre-Grasset
The Foundation helps the students who have financial means more restricted because, although private, the college wants to be financially accessible.
The Foundation distributes also three grants (at least) to gaining Concours of excellence of Archimedes with Zola.
Association coed
The AGECAG (General association of the Students and Coeds of the College Andre-Grasset) is an organization aiming at managing the studied budget, to defend the coed cause, to deal with the various organizations present at the College Andre-Grasset (Newspaper, Envert, Dépannage Health, Club Travel, Club Photo, Atlib, Club Sport, data-processing Club, Radio coed) and to organize partys to divert the students. She also finances the student projects. In short, the AGECAG contributes to the life coed and its financing, in addition to defending and supporting the students.
