Collection Cultural heritage of the French-speaking countries
Cd-roms collection produced by the Agency of the Francophonie (become " The International organization of the francophonie " in 1998).
In the wave of creation of Cd-roms at the end of the years 1990, the Agency of the Francophonie decided to publish this collection to digitize and preserve the documentary sources of the ethnographic museums located in the countries of the Francophonie. Other similar actions, like Cd-roms published with the assistance of UNESCO, present the sites classified to the World heritage.
The realization of the collection was entrusted to a young Parisian multi-media production company, H3D, then with Number Nine. For each title, a person in charge of each museum supervised the scientific contents for E to guarantee the greatest possible rigor. Miguel Ramis ensured the direction as a project manager of it. Remi Pip and Jerome Chauchat carried out the artistic director and Florence Renaut the programming under Director.
Three titles were carried out in 1997, for VIIe top of the Francophonie with Hanoi.
- Manega/Burkina Faso : museum of Bendrologie. Director: Me Frederic Titinga Pacéré
- Bamako/Mali: National museum of Mali. Director: Samuel Sidibé
- Hanoi/Vietnam: ethnographic museum of Vietnam. Direction: Christine Hemmet (Museum of the Man)
Two other titles were carried out in 1999-2000.
- Tombouctou/Mali: manuscripts of the Center Ahmed Baba.
- IFAN-Dakar/Senegal: collections of the Museum of the Fundamental Institute of Africa Black-Sheik Anta Diop. Direction: Massamba Blade.
The absence of distribution systems of products multimedia and the advent of the DVD put an end to this collection. An adaptation and setting on support DVD are being studied.
