Collar of the Battle

The collar of the Battle to 1313 Mètre S of Altitude is one of rare the point of passage, with the Col of Rousset, giving access the South Vercors. It precisely connects Chabeuil and the small village of Léoncel to the west with Vassieux-in-Vercors in the east via Bouvante.

The highest point on this road is located at 1336 m on the level it tunnel making it possible to cross the peak.

The closest shelters are the sheep-fold of Sausse, the refuge of Ambel (19 places) and the refuge Gardiol (16 places).
