Collar of Klausen

The collar of Klausen is a collar of the Swiss Alps which connects the canton of Uri to the Canton of Glaris. It culminates with 1948 meters of altitude. Between Altdorf and the top of the collar, the road crosses Schächental, then top with Linthal, it borrows Urnerboden.

Between 1922 and 1934, the collar was used as course for a hill climb intended for the cars and the motor cycles.

Since 1993, races of old cars are regularly organized there.
