Collar of Cross-of-Iron
The collar of Cross-of-Iron to 2.068 Mètre S of Altitude is located at the limit between the solid mass of the Russet-red Grandes and the Massif of Arvan-Villards.
It connects Saint-Jean-with-Maurienne to the North-East and Borough-with Oisans in the south, while passing near the Col of Glandon, is the valleys of the Maurienne and the Romanche.
It is open from June to October.
The road was open in 1912.
