Collar of Charmette
The collar of Charmette to 1261 Meter S of Altitude, in the Massive of Chartreuse, finishes a road without-exit for the town vehicles since the abandonment of the maintenance of the forest road which prolonged it, and makes of them a starting point of Randonnée in the solid mass. One reaches it by the commune of Proveysieux.
This collar is located between the Sour Grande at the west and the Charmant Som at the east.
The closest refuges are the country cottage of Charmette (60 places, 14 beds), the farm inn of Charming Som (50 places) and the not-kept refuges of the Baskets and Hurtières (mountain pastures of Sour).
