Colgate-Palmolive

Colgate-Palmolive Company (NYSE: CL) is a multinational specialized in the production of soaps, detergents and of products of oral hygiene like toothpaste and toothbrushes. It is also the creator of veterinary products under the mark " Hill' s".

History

In 1896, the small factory of the family Colgate lance tubes of toothpaste which will quickly become a standart and diffused abroad. In 1928 the company amalgamates with one of principal the soap manufacturer: Palmolive .
