Coldoré , engraver French out of fine stones, enjoys a very-large vogue at the 16th century, was honoured with the favor of Henri IV, of which it engraved the portrait with an admirable perfection and was called in England to do that of Elisabeth Ire of England. Coldoré is only one nickname; it is believed that its name is Julien of Fontenay .
