Cold Puts: classified cases (in France) or Victims of last the (with the Quebec) ( Cold Puts ) is a Televised series American created by Meredith Stiehm, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and diffused since September 28th, 2003 on television on the network CBS. In France, the series is diffused since September 5th, 2004 on television on Canal+ and since September 4th, 2005 on television on France 2. In Swiss, the series is diffused since August 28th, 2005 on television on TSR1 and in Quebec, it is diffused on Séries+.

Synopsis

Charged with reopening old files classified without continuation, Lilly Rush, only woman detective of the criminal Police force of Philadelphia, investigation into murders ever elucidated, made there are several years, even several tens of years.

Characters

Lilly Rush : this professional senior, which was let guide hitherto by its intuition and its comprehension of the criminal spirit to clear up current criminal cases, is ready to take up the new challenges which await it: to reinterrogate witnesses whose life changed whole with the whole, to make profitable the scientific projections and to find new indices on businesses judged at the time insoluble… At the same time, it is perfectly conscious that its investigations are likely to reopen old wounds, of even pushing the assassins to repeat.

In the inextricable situations, Lilly Rush seeks council near its mentor, respected lieutenant John Stillman. It also has as fellow-members the detective Nick Vera, hard to cook who does not hesitate to resort to the force to obtain consents, Will Jeffries and his fellow-member Scott Valens. For Lilly Rush, this new station represents a decisive turn in its career and it puts a point of honor to take care that no victim falls into the lapse of memory.

Before inquiring into the classified cases, Lilly belonged to a current murder squad. It chose to deal with the classified cases after a woman, Bonita, acknowledged to him to have been pilot of a crime, 27 years before.

It sensitive, voluntary, is been obstinated and intelligent and expert in criminal psychology. Its family relations are surging, in particular with his/her sister who was the boyfriend of Scotty Valens.

Scotty Valens : native of Spring Garden, one of the districts of Philadelphia, he is the last inspector to join the unit directed by Lilly Rush within the office of the homicides.

Scott reads in people as in a book. He is expert to obtain from no matter whom a confession. A fundamentally nice boy: he is the confidant of Lilly and his partner nearest. He appears sometimes arrogant, mainly because of a feeling of competition exacerbated which he feels while arriving in the service. Its character is haunted by bad memories, indeed his big brother was victim of rape by their coach of boxing during his childhood what explains its deep hatred towards the paedophiles.

John Stillman : lieutenant of police force, mentor of Lilly and brigade and foreman. It is patient, understanding and hard when the being is needed. It has relational problems with its ex-wife and her daughter.

Nick Vera : police inspector, it is famous to withdraw with roughness the consents of the culprits, nice and with listening. Its qualities are its physical force and perseverance but it misses smoothness with the witnesses.

Will Jeffries : police inspector, it is the veteran of the brigade and the bond of Lilly with the past. He is wise, soft, diplomatic. It is the alive memory of the service. Disturbed by the death of his wife struck by a weight-loud during the winter 1995, it misses retreat when an investigation relates to it of too near.
