Coktel Vision

Coktel Vision is a French company of development of Video game . The company developed plays of adventure and action starting from the middle of the years 1980.

It was made particularly know as an editor of video game of the company Tomahawk, none the plays of Tomahawk was not sold apart from Europe. Coktel Vision also developed educational plays, among which one can quote In the name of Hermine, the Bump of the Maths, the series of the " Enigma à" , the most famous etc of them remains Adi the extraterrestrial one.

The popularity of Coktel Vision is assembled out of arrow in 1992 when the company became a subsidiary company of On-line Sierra; Sierra started to market the plays of Coktel Vision to the the United States.

After the repurchase of Sierra by Havas and the disappointing sales of its last titles, Coktel Vision exclusively develops educational video games put most of the time on the European market only.

The company was repurchased in 2005 with Vivendi Universal Games by the Mindscape group. It launched the same year a chain of interactive programs for the children on the numerical bouquet Canalsat
