Love One The Beat is an album of Serge Gainsbourg left in 1984.

On this album, Gainsbourg is tested with the electronic music and the synthetizers which were popular in the Eighties. The album was discussed for its words with the highly sexual contents, and more particularly Lemon Incest (lemon Inceste) sung in duet with his/her daughter Charlotte, then 12 years old. The disc also includes/understands many allusions to the Homosexualité; thus, the title I' m The Boy refers to the " Back Room" homosexual of the time, while KIS Me Hardy evokes the same subject by taking again alleged last words of the Admiral Nelson with his aide-de-camp, Hardy. Gainsbourg, large provocative will evoke throughout the promotion of this disc its experiments gay. He will disavow his remarks however a few years later by declaring that " it was for balancer".
