Coefficient of damping

The coefficient of damping characterizes the faculty of a Liquide to wet a Surface.

Let us suppose that one deposits a drop of this liquid on a surface. If, at the edge of the drop, the liquid makes a Angle $\backslash \; alpha$ with surface, the coefficient of damping will be given by:

$\backslash \; qquad\; has\; (cos\; (\backslash \; alpha)\; -\; 1)$

$A$ being the surface Tension liquid.
