Cody Runnels

Cody Rhodos (born Cody Runnels the June 30th 1985 with Marietta, Georgia) is currently a American all-in wrestler with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in division RAW .

Runnels is the son of " The American Dream" Dusty Rhodos just like the half-brother of Virgil Runnels III, more known under the name of Dustin Rhodos and the brother of Kevin Runnels (Kevin Rhodos). He is also the nephew of " Nasty Boy" Jerry Sags and Fred Ottman (more known as a " Typhoon" or " Tugboat"), and its godfather Magnum T.A.

Career

Runnels trained a team with Shawn Spears in August 2006 and started to compete with Deuce & Domino for OVW Southern Tag TEAM Championship, gaining the gold of Deuce & Domino twice -- the October 18th and December 13rd 2006.

Whereas they remained OVW Southern Tag Champions, a discord developed between Cody and its Spears partner. Both started with feuder after Spears became jealous of the success of Cody as an all-in wrestler solo. This began when Cody gained OVW Heavyweight Championship of Paul Burchill in a House show the February 17th 2007, only poru to lose it the following day. Spears gained in answer OVW Television Championship. The March 31st 2007 with the ceremony of WWE Hall off Famed at the sides of Dustin, it introduced his/her father into the Temple of the Fame. The April 11th 2007, the duet lost the titles by team. Cody beat its rival the July 6th 2007, for devenur the new OVW Television Champion. Cody lost the title TV vis-a-vis Spears very right a week later.

World Wrestling Entertainment

The May 29th 2007, Rhodos took part in a Dark match before the recordings of SmackDown! , in a match where it beat Daivari. In this match with Daivari, it received a blow of elbow to the head and had a severe cut; after the match, it was accompanied by the referees in the cloakrooms to be made pose points of joinings.

The July 2nd 2007 with RAW , Cody appeared in the slides with his/her father Dusty Rhodos and Randy Orton, where Orton presented itself to Cody and then gave a snap to Dusty Rhodos as a sign of non-observance. The July 9th 2007, Cody returned the apparatus in Orton by giving him a slap. The following week, Cody faced Randy Orton in its first match with his/her father on the edge of the boxing ring, but it was beaten after a RKO. Cody appeared with the Great American Bash to prevent his/her father from undergoing the blows of Orton. The following night with RAW Cody defied Orton for a match revenge of the following week, to only be once again beaten on fallen. Randy after this afflicted a powerful kick with the head with the father of Cody, a little as it had done with Rob Van Damm and Shawn Michaels before.

After difficult beginnings on line on television and this 0-2, Jonathan Coachman said to Cody the July 30th with RAW that if it did not gain its next match it would be transfered. Little time afterwards, Cody had its first victory by beating Daivari, whereas it carried " the Eye of Tigre" with an eye with the brown butter sauce on the left eye.
