Codroipo
Codroipo is a common of the Province of Udine in the area Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
History
- In Passariano is the Villa Manin. Created with by Antonio Manin, the villa was reorganized at the 17th century by the architect Domenico Rossi, and shelters frescos of Louis Dorigny (18th century). It was the residence of summer of the last Doge de Venise, Ludovico Manin, and sheltered the general Bonaparte of at the end of August at the end of October 1797: it is there that it negotiated and signed the Traité of Campo-Formio. It is nowadays a center of contemporary art.
- the department of the Passariano, department of the Kingdom of Italy, was named in remembering the signature of the Traité of Campo-Formio with Passariano.
