Code Quantum

Code Quantum ( Quantum Leap ) is a American Televised series in 95 episodes of 46 minutes and a pilot of 90 minutes created by Donald P. Bellisario, diffused from March 26th, 1989 to May 5th, 1993 on the network NBC and in France from September 19th, 1993 to February 4th, 1994 on M6.

Synopsis

In 1999, the Doctor Samuel Beckett, scientist of genious, finalizes a temporal experiment… and disappears in the past.

From now on, it Voyage in time while jumping from time in time, place in place, in the skin of people more or less ordinary, men, women, sometimes animal, in order to correct more or less serious errors in the life of people. It does not have any control on the place and the date of its next jump in time.

In its mission which in its opinion was entrusted to him by God, he is assisted by Al, a colleague who is present in the form of Hologramme that only Sam, the animals and very the young children can see. Comments

A great number of ideas of scenarios were abandoned. Inter alia, one into which Sam slips into the skin of John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The possibility of producing an animated episode was also raised like that of seeing Sam endorsing the role of a baby or the role of Thomas Magnum of the series Magnum. These projects never were born because too difficult to realize.

It is the lapping machine of Scott Bakula, Guy Chapellier, which had the idea to translate the famous “oh servant boy” by “oh cheer” .
