Code Jedi

the Code of Jedi was one will mantra which was used to reinforce the teaching of Jedi. Several versions of this code exist, however the version established by Odan-Urr is very often most known:

It does not have there emotion, it there with peace.

It does not have there ignorance, it there with knowledge.

It does not have there passion, it there with serenity.

It does not have there chaos, it there with the harmony.

It does not have there death, it there with the Force.

Nevertheless, this version was refined by an old code:

Emotion, then peace.

Ignorance, then knowledge.

Passion, then serenity.

Chaos, then the harmony.

Death, then the Force.

Significances

It does not have there emotion, it there with peace:

That does not want to say that Jedi should not feel emotions. That means that they must control their emotions in order not to be let guide by them. Jedi must above all make pass the reason before its feelings, its acts should not be guided by anger, the love or frustration, but always be considered.

It does not have there ignorance, it there with knowledge:

the chance, the way in which the things are held on the way in which one is prepared there, and who depend do not exist better than Jedi are prepared!? The Jedi order preaches knowledge so that the pupils prepare to undergo all kinds of tests. Knowledge is a thing which can transform the defeat into victory.

It does not have there passion, it there with serenity:

Jedi must always try to find peaceful solutions. No life must be sacrificed except if it is inevitable. Knowledge and patience are often the best means of avoiding a combat, the control of the Force in is another.

It does not have there chaos, it there with the harmony:

No matter what Jedi makes that must result from a long mental preparation in order to be projected well in the action with an aim of being most effective possible. When several Jedi are engaged in the same mission or the same combat, they must always cooperate. Combatant for the other, Jedi tries to find the means as well as possible of protecting each user from the Force.

It does not have there death, it there with the Force:

Nothing dies. When Jedi is wounded or in a state such as one can say it " mort" , it becomes a share of the universe and continuous of living in this state.

Here of other principles which, although not mentioned in the Code, must be known and respected by all Jedi.

Jedi are the policemen and of justice
Jedi has the right to kill if its defense obliges
there the laser Saber is the symbol of the members of the Ordre Jedi
Jedi is obliged to keep the Célibat
Jedi must observe the mutual respect
Jedi must defend the weak ones and without-defenses
Jedi must always cooperate in a battle or a crisis
