Cocco

Cocco (born the January 19th 1977 with Naha, Okinawa) is a singer of J-pop. After having begun its career in 1996 with the album Cocko , it contributes one of the songs of its first album, Sing has Song ~No Music, No Life~ , in a publicity campaign of Tower Records Japan.

In March 1997, it launches its first album under a great label with Kauntodaun (Countdown, " count with rebours"), and the album which follows shortly after. The following year, individual the Tsuyoku Hakanaimonotachi (" what is strong and éphémère") is sold with 250 000 specimens. The song Raining is used as music of fence with Shiki Jitsu of Hideaki Anno.

Cocco publishes three other albums - Kumuiuta in 1998, Rapunzel in 2000, and Sanguroozu in 2001. Before the exit of Sanguroozu , Cocco had stated to take its retirement of singer. A little later, the label left a retrospective its career, Best + Ura Best + Mihappyokyokushuu , with the individual ones, the new faces B and 5 songs.

In 2002, Cocco leaves its retirement publishes of it its first free art, Minami No Shima No Hoshi No Suna . In August 2003, it organizes a concert of charity for the depollution of the beaches of Okinawa. Heaven' S Hell , documentary, follows in December.

In 2004, it appears on the cover of the album BLUE of Yutaka Ozaki, and publishes are second book of art, Minami No Shima No Koi No ATU , accompanied by an special edition limited of individual, Garnet/Celeste Blue . In 2005, Cocco works with the photographer and singer nanaco with a book and CD titrated The Bird . The end of the year, it joins Kishida Shigeru, of the group Quruli , to re-record Sing has Song for the 25e birthday of Tower Records. These sessions inspire the formation of Singer Songer , a group including/understanding Cocco, Kishida, Satou Masashi (bass player of Quruli), Hirohisa Horie (pianist of Cornelius ) and Dai Tarou, old beater of FEED.

Singer Songer launched out like special guest during the concert of in May 2005 and end of the year 2004 of Quruli, the group published individual, Shoka Rinrin . An album, Pop Barairo , is published in June 2005; its style is tinted inspirations country, and much less dark than preceding works of Cocco.
