Co-operative Credit
The Co-operative Crédit is a French co-operative bank. It is distinguished by its structure Coopérative, its particular bonds with associations and the co-operatives, and in a more general way by its implication near all the organizations of the social economy, like by its place in the ethical Finance.
The co-operative credit created in 1983, in collaboration with CCFD, the first investment fund humane: Hunger and Development. It offers many other interdependent placements today, in the fields of the international solidarity, the fight against exclusions, the assistance to the handicapped people, and sustainable development.
In 2002, the Co-operative Credit joined the group Banque Populaire while becoming one of its head offices.
In 2004, the banking net profit was of 269,9M€, and the bottom line of 30,8M€.
