Club of the Thirty (Brittany)

The Club of the Thirty is a club of reflection and action to the service of the Brittany which gathers an about sixty Breton big bosses. One can quote for example François Pinault, Duff (group Duff), Daniel Roullier (Carrier Group), Vincent Bolloré, Georges Coudray (CMB). Born in 1989, on the initiative, inter alia, of Yves Rocher, it holds two or three full sessions per annum more of the meetings in restricted committee.

The operation of this club without legal structure and whose members speak little about their activity in his center remains badly known. One knows his action of lobbying for the prolongation of the line of the Atlantic TGV until Rennes and the launching of Passeport Brittany to help the young Breton contractors.

The origin of the name is with Jean-Pierre Roch in reference to the Combat of the Thirty, combat beside Ploermel between the clans of Jean de Montfort and Charles of Blois where on March 27th, 1351 during the War of succession of Brittany.
