Club of the Officers (Abou Dabi)

The Club of the Officers and international center of conferences to Abou Dabi with the United Arab Emirates is a construction ordered by the Sheik Zayed again serving club for the officers of the staff of the army of the Emirates.

Having been the subject of a contest, it is the project of the agency Roger Taillibert which was selected. Their architectural proposal was based on a concept integrating all the functions under the same cover, evoking an immense Arab tent or a Faucon posed in the Désert. The integration of these various functions on more: 200000 m ² comprises Mosquée, center of Tennis, horse club, section of Football, residence Officier S and bachelors and 700 rooms of officers and foreign guests.

Description of the levels

All the functions of the club are gathered in order to create a Agora permanent life.

At the lower level: All the technical equipment is envisaged in a very specialized basement, connected to the technical center by a gallery of circulation.

On the level ground floor, one finds: Reception, gardens cascades, administration. Restaurant of: 1000 covers, center of table tennis, cafeteria, Bowling, center of shooting. All the Sport S, Olympic swimming pool, swimming pool and Kindergarten and many rooms of drive. Room of billiards, room of Fencing, sports hall multiple functions with: 2000 places of spectators, Volley ball, Handball, tennis shoe, squashs of competitions. Important room of Musculation, room of Judo and Boxing.
On this same level: Theater of: 1000 places with scene allowing the presentation of operas, cabins and all the equipment.

In stage: Living rooms of reception, meeting rooms, gaming rooms of table, rooms of data processing and conférences.
In direct connection and half-circle, 700 rooms of reception 5 stars.
