The Club Atlético Talleres is an Argentinian club of Football based with Córdoba and evolving/moving in the the second division (Will precede B) of the championship of Argentina. They play the Derby of Córdoba against the Club Atletico Belgrano de Córdoba.
History
Founded in 1913 by the employees of the railroad company Central Córdoba , the club takes first of all the name of Atlético Talleres Central Córdoba and is supported by the company. In 1914, the team joined the local league of Córdoba and, in 1925, it joined the National league Amateur then, in the second time, the Second Division Amateur. With the arrival of professionalism in 1931, the club becomes professional but, in 1938, the club is relegated in the second division ( Segunda División called later Primera B ) where it will remain until in 1960, date on which the team falls in the third division (renamed meanwhile Segunda División ).
The rebirth occurs three years later with the return in Primera B . This return will be only of short duration because, as of 1968 and with the reorganization of lowest divisions, the club falls down again in the third division (called this time Primera C ) for two seasons.
During the Years 1970 and 1980, the team alternates between 1st, 2nd and the 3rd divisions in particular finishing second of the 1st division in 1977 and third in 1980. During this period, the team can enorgeuillir itself to have in her rows two players, Luis Ludueña and Jose Reinaldi, which will be crowned better striker respectively in 1976 with 12 goals and 1978 with 18 goals.
The club joined the Primera again has after the season 1993 - 94 but cannot there be maintained and relapses one year later. The season 1995 - 96, it, sees the team finishing first during Apertura (Tournament of Opening) of Primera B but the club loses the title of accuracy to the profit of Huracán de Corrientes at the time of Clausura (Tournament of Fence).
Vis-a-vis the historical rival, the Club Atlético Belgrano, Talleres will gain, at a meeting of shooting-with-goal, its only title in Argentine (title of Primera B , the second division) at the time of the season 1997 - 98 turning over by là-même in the first division. The balance of these derbies is in light imbalance for the Club Atlético Belgrano with 130 victories with 128.
Even if it obtains the third place of Primera has in 2003 - 04, the team is again relegated because of these bad results which cause a financial descent into Hell. In liquidation, the club is repurchased by Ateliers SA whose ADZE becomes majority shareholder in 2005. Since this repurchase, Oswaldo Piazza was charged to deal with the club and became sport director about it.
In 2006, the club is not far from offering its second title of Nacional B but, vis-a-vis Nueva Chicago, at the time of a match with more than 35.000 spectators, Talleres loses by 1-0 and the title flies away.
the club currently evolves/moves in the second Argentinian division.
