Club 33

The Club 33 is a private club with restaurant of Disneyland in California, located just above the " Blue Bayou Restaurant" in New Orleans Public garden with the angle of the entry of the Pirate of the Caribbean.

The private club

The idea of the private club Club 33 was born in the first years from the park from a room deprived within the restaurant Red Wagon Inn (1955-1965) reserved with the use of Walt Disney. With construction from 1962 of New Orleans Public garden, it was decided to build a larger space and more close friend. The room of Red Inn Coach, famous Plaza Inn in 1965, was converted into continuation deprived for the partner Goodyear then in offices before being removed in 1999.

The private club is not opened to the public and seldom mentioned in the promotional booklets of the park. The access to the private club or obtaining a subscription is very restrictive. The price of a subscription to Club 33 turns around $7,500-$10,000 per annum with a waiting list of several years.

The room of restaurant is on the first floor and the windows have balconies.

The building

The entry with the club is a door full with color blue, only marked with one plate carrying the " number; 33" , immediately with the right-hand side of the Blue Bayou . To enter, it is enough to press a small black button which calls the intendant. The room reserved to the members, to persons in charge of Disney and some personalities makes it possible to have a panoramic sight on New Orleans Square since the first stage.

It is the only place of the Disneyland park where are been useful of alcoholic drinks, and of great quality.
