Clouzeaux

Clouzeaux is a common French, located in the department of the the Vendée and the area Pays of the Loire. Its inhabitants are called Cluzéliens and Cluzéliennes.

Geography

The commune of Clouzeaux ranges between 35 and 70 meters of altitude at the confluences of many brooks and rivers like: Ornay, Livraie or the tinouze. the commune is at 10 minutes of the Roche-sur-Yon and at 20 minutes of the beaches of the Atlantic.

History

The church of Gothic architecture of the fourteenth century has a splendid rosette on its frontage like some stained glasses. In the night of January 7th, 1948 the lightning strikes a window of the bell-tower which fell into the nave.
