Clitus , general Macedonian, brother of Hellanice, nurse of Alexandre Large the, followed this prince in his military forwardings, and saved to him the life with the passage of the Granique. In a feast, Alexandre, overheated by the wine and irritated of what Clitus put the exploits of his/her Philippe father above his, killed it out of his own hand (326). Returned with him, he cried it and made him make splendid funeral.
