Clipboard
In Data-processing, a clipboard is a functionality which makes it possible to store data that one wishes to duplicate or move. It uses a zone of the Volatile memory of the Ordinateur, being able to contain information of various nature (text, image, file, etc). This information is stored in zone memory when it was the subject of one call to the function '' to copy '' or '' to cut '' of the Operating system or of a Logiciel. It is reusable by the call of the function to thereafter stick , which replaces the object.
Others
Under Windows, the clipboard is also the destination of the captures of screen generated at the time of the support on the key Impr. screen . The call of the function to stick then makes it possible to recover a faithful copy of the screen, such as the user sees it.
