Climate of the Rhone delta
The department of the Rhone delta is subjected to a Mediterranean Climat.
The characteristics of this climate are:

of the contrasted temperatures, with a strong annual amplitude of approximately 15°C
- of irregular precipitations, there is less than 100 days of rain per annum and these rains fall in the form of brutal downpours
- the summer is very hot and dry, the winter is soft, there are violent rains in spring and the autumn
- of the strong winds, in particular the mistral which blows nearly 100 days per annum with points with more 100km/h
- a vegetation mainly made up of Garrigue S, maquis, sparse forests
