Climate of the Low-Rhine

A contrasted climate

The climate of the the Low-Rhine is of continental type, marked by cold and dry winters and hot and stormy summers, because of Western protection which the the Vosges offer. The annual average temperature is of 10  °C in plain and of 7  °C in altitude. The annual thermal amplitude is strong (30  °C). Pluviometry is on average of 700 mm/an.
