Climate of the Alps
On average, the temperature decreases by 0,56°C for 100 Mr. This difference is lower in winter (0,37° in December) primarily thanks to anticyclonic inversions (good weather clear & soft in altitude vs time gray, misty & cold in the funds of valley) that in spring (0,70° in April), which gives, on average, 1° for 200 m (Pautou & Al, 1989). However, it would be necessary to traverse approximately 200 km towards North to obtain the same heat gradient ( Idem ).
