Cleveland Browns Stadium
The Cleveland Browns Stadium is a stage of American football located at the edge of the Lac Érié in the center of Cleveland, Ohio.
Since 1999, its tenants are the Browns of Cleveland, a frankness from American football which evolve/move in NFL in the northern division of the American Football League. Its capacity is of 73.200 places including 145 continuations of luxuries and 8.754 seats of club.
History
The Cleveland Browns Stadium extends on 125.000 m ². Its cost of construction was of $283 million USD. The stage was drawn by HOK Sport and it belongs to the town of Cleveland.Towards the end of the year 1980 and beginning of the year 1990, the owner of the Browns of Cleveland, Art Modell, proposed that a new stage either built. Their ground running, the Cleveland Municipal Stadium, very old and was deteriorated. The Browns also shared the stage with the Cleveland Indians of MLB. After the season 1993, the Indians moved in a new stage of Base-ball, the Jacobs Field. However, the Browns remained wedged in decayed the Cleveland Municipal Stadium. Not being able to conclude an agreement to build a stage, Modell decided to move the team with Baltimore after the season 1995.
However in 1996, the city and NFL have conclude an agreement to leave the team to Cleveland. The Browns of Cleveland were decontaminated during 3 years, time to build new the Cleveland Browns Stadium . The Cleveland Municipal Stadium was demolished the November 4th 1996. The May 15th 1997, the construction of the new stage started on the same site as the old one. It was inaugurated the September 12th 1999 with the name of Cleveland Browns Stadium. More than 73.200 seats of orange color are located in all the stage. Two platforms of three lines are located around the ground. A bleacher of 10.000 seats, known under the name of " Dawg Pound" , is located at the end is stage. Excellent sights of the downtown area of Cleveland and Lac Érié can also be seen stage. Several approvals are located at the Cleveland Browns Stadium like Browns Hall off Famed, the store of team, and The Grill and Sports Bar. There was recently a project to add a dome at the stage in the effort to obtain a future Super Bowl.
