Clerval is a Canadian Municipalité of the province of Quebec, located in the regional Municipalité of county of Abitibi-West and in the administrative area Abitibi-Témiscamingue. It is bordering Lac Abitibi.

Municipal chronology

• September 12th, 1927: The municipality of Roquemaure is detached from the canton of Roquemaure.
• 1938: The municipality of Roquemaure becomes the municipality of Holy-Jeanne-of Arc-of-Clerval.
• 1951: The municipality of Holy-Jeanne-of Arc-of-Clerval becomes the municipality of Clerval.
