The section of female Basket-ball, which disappeared today with regard to its part elite since 1985, marked of its print the Basket-ball in France in the years 1970-1980. The young ladies of Clermont , as they are called, thus dominated the championship of France, and the first years of the Coupe of Europe of the clubs champions whose confrontations vis-a-vis the Daugava Rīga remained in the legend.

History

Birth of the section

Clermont Université Club is born in 1921 in the form from a club from Rugby, created by students clermontois. It will quickly become a general sports Club. In 1964 is born the section from female basketball.
