Clement Guillon

Clement Guillon , born with Plessé in the Loire-Atlantique in 1932, is bishop of Quimper and Leon since 1989.

It was ordered priest in the Congrégation of Jesus and Marie (Eudistes) with Redon (Ille-et-Vilaine) in 1957.

Higher learning with Paris and Besancon of 1957 at 1960. Professor with the Sainte-Marie College of Caen in 1960 - 1961. Chaplain of the students of the university of Besancon of 1961 with 1967.

Provincial superior of Eudistes for France of 1967 with 1971. General superior of Eudistes of 1971 with 1983.

Parochial ministry with Saint-Michel-sur-Orge (Diocese of Corbeil) of 1983 with 1988. Responsible for the continuing education of the priests in this diocese of 1984 with 1988

Named coadjutor the March 17th 1988, ordered bishop of Quimper and Leon the April 10th according to, it succeeds Mgr Francis Barbu the May 4th 1989.
